Pineapple Semolina Dessert Recipe | Ananas Sheera | Ananas Halwa | Pineapple Kesari

Picture say a thousand words. Don't we remember our childhood when we started looking and  understanding pictures in books, newspapers and comics even before we learnt to read and write. Yes, that is the power of photography. This post is my first attempt to translate cooking procedure through pictures.

However, I will give the measurement to the ingredients which I have used in making this fruity halwa/halva with a heavenly aroma.  Hope the steps are clear enough for you to prepare the dessert.

Rava/Semolina : 1 cup
Milk : 1 cup mixed with 2 cups of water
Sugar : 1 cup + 2 tbsp. extra if pineapple is cour
Raisins: Handful
Cashew: Handful
Cardamom : 3
Saffron soaked in warm milk
Pineapple chunks : 1 cup
Pineapple Puree : 1/2 cup
Ghee or Clarified Butter : 1/2 cup

Finally let it cook on low flame till your halwa is ready
