Pesto Pasta With Soy Chunks




Never judge a book by its cover and never judge soy chunks by its looks. I added some cooked soy chunks to penne pasta cooked in Pesto Sauce. How wonderful it tasted . If you don't believe me, make it yourself and feel the difference.

What You Need:

1              Boiled Whole Wheat Penne Pasta             2 cups
2              Boiled Soy Chunks   1 cup
3              Chopped Red and Green Capscicum        1 cup
4              Pesto Sauce              2 tbsp
5              Black Pitted Olives    6 or 7
6              salt           to taste
7              sugar        to taste
8              Italian Herbs            1 tbsp
9              olive oil    1 tbsp
10             Mushrooms Chopped              1 cup


Steps To Make:

Heat Oil in a non stick pan.
Add Soy chunks and fry till for 3-4 minutes.
Add capsicum and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add rest of the ingredients.
Add 2 to 3 tsp water in which pasta was cooked.
Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Serve hot
