Chickpea Carrot Salad


1 cup chickpea soaked overnight
1 small onion chopped
2 tbsp curd
1/2 lime juice
1 small carrot grated
1 tsp ghee
ping of mustard seeds, cumin seeds and fennel seeds

To prepare:

Cook chickpea in pressure cooker for 30 minutes on medium flame with 1 tsp salt.
Strain and put in a salad bowl.
Add grated carrot,chopped onion,curd and lime juice.
Heat 1/2 tsp ghee in a tadka pan.
Add mustard seed, cumin seeds and fennel seeds.
Add the same to the salad bowl. Mix well.
You can additional put some chopped coriander and mint leaves(Optional)
