Kakharu Phula Bhaja (Pumpkin Flower Fry):

20 Kakhru Phula (Pumpkin Flowers – the female ones) chopped finely
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
Salt t taste
1 tbsp rice powder
½ tsp amchur power (optional)
Oil for cooking.
Method to cook:Mash everything well except oil.
Heat oil in a pan.
Put the Mixture on pan and cook on both sides. You can also make small patties of it and cook.
Its ready in 10 minutes.

    Reminds me of good old Orissa days. Very nice indeed, cant get it in Delhi. By the way, male flowers are only used, the photo shows male flower. I am sure you made a typing mistake.
