Methi Daal


Ingredients:

1 cup tuwar daal soaked in water for half an hour
2 cups methi leaves chopped
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste (about 1 tbsp)
2 tomatoes chopped
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 green chilies chopped
1 big onion chopped
1 tbsp ginger garlic crushed

Method to cook:

Cook daal with methi in pressure cooker
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds.
Once it starts spluttering, add green chilies, chopped onions and ginger garlis paste.
Let the onions turn brown.
Add tomatoes and cook till done.
Add cooked daal, red chili powder and bring it to boil.
Methi Daal is ready to serve.
