Sesame Seeds- Roasted Peanuts - Coconut & Jaggery Ladoo

An extremely healthy, ridiculously easy  and wonderfully flavoursome sweet balls which Indians lovingly call them Ladoo. You can store them in refrigerator for atleast two weeks. Do not get surprised by the color of the ladoos in the picture shown below. In the eastern part of India, Sesame seeds grow abundantly and is available in both black and white color. Til or Sesame oil is another thing which is also abundantly used in eastern part of India for body massage and keep body warm during winter.

Lets learn how to make the ladoos
3 cups sesame seeds (black and white)
1 cup jaggery powder
1 cup peanuts
½ cup coconut

Pinch of cardamom powder (optional)
Dry roast sesame seeds and grind to powder
Roast peanuts, remove skin and grind to a coarse powder
Dry roast grated coconut
Now mix everything together and shape them into small lemon balls.
Since sesame seeds is a good source of oil, when everything mixed together , stay together and hold on to each other.
