Chicken Pulled Apart Sandwich with Daliya or Broken Wheat Salad

Does the name pulled apart make you curious. Well, boiled chicken meat is literally pulled apart with fingers or fork and then cooked with various sauces of your choice and then stuffed and toasted and served. It is so simple to make and so delicious that you will have to make it to believe me.

What I used to make 5 to 6 sandwiches :

2 chicken breast
3 tbsp BBQ sause. Use any combination of sauce as per your liking
½ cup water
Salt to taste
2 tbsp garlic chopped
Bread slices

Steps to Make:

Boil chicken in water for 10-12 minutes.Strain the water and allow it to cook down before you start pulling it apart. Chop with a knife if you don’t want to use your finger.

Put in a pan. Add chopped garlic, bbq sauce, salt to taste and water. Cook again on medium low flame till water is all absorbed and chicken is nicely soaked in the sauce. That’s its..

Stuff between bread slices and toast with minimal or zero oil and server.

For the Daliya Salad:

Daliya is broken wheat which you can easily find in any store in India.
Soak Daliya overnite. In the morning squeeze out excess water.
Chop green capsicum, red capsicum and yellow capsicum. Add sweet corn.
Add salt, lemon juice, olive oil and pepper to taste. Add chopped tomatoes if you like and chopped cucumber as well. (I have skipped tomatoes and cucumber in the picture. However, they give a nice tanginess and crunch to the salad).

This is all my friends. You are ready with a nice healthy meal.
